A special event in Compiègne:
”14” Musical fresco of the great war "
Fresco in 14 paintings for tenor, children's choirs and orchestra composed by Thierry Pélicant on words by Luis Porquet.
The fifth representation of this story of the Great War told in music took place as part of the festivities organized by the city of Compiègne to commemorate the Centenary of the signing of the armistice.
For this exceptional occasion, the VociHARMONIE adult choir joined the children's choirs of the conservatory.

L'Orchestre Philharmonique de l'Oise et la commémoration du Centenaire 14-18
Le 10 décembre 1913, la Société Philharmonique de Beauvais (devenu aujourd'hui l'Orchestre Philharmonique de l'Oise) a donné son premier et unique concert de la saison 1913-1914. Le suivant ne sera donné que le 2 mars 1920. Nous ne connaissons pas le nom des membres de l’Orchestre d’alors, évidemment partis pour la plupart à la guerre, ni celui des musiciens que l’Orchestre a retrouvé à l’issue du conflit, si ce n’est celui de deux d'entre-eux :
Mais notre mission au service de la politique culturelle du département de l’Oise nous en donnait elle aussi l’ardente obligation. L'Orchestre Philharmonique de l'Oise s'est donc engagé dans deux voies
la première était de commander une œuvre originale racontant l'histoire e la Grande Guerre en musique, faisant une place à des instruments populaires, aux airs populaires de l'époque ainsi qu'aux chœurs d'enfants. Cette volonté a fait naître "14"Fresque musicale de la Grande Guerre pour ténor, chœurs d'enfants et orchestre, composée par Thierry Pélicant sur des paroles de Luis Porquet.
La seconde était de faire revivre les musiciens combattants de la Grande Guerre nés dans le département de l'Oise, ou ayant habité l'Oise, ou ayant été au front dans le département de l'Oise ou encore en Picardie.
Cette deuxième voie a donné lieu à trois commémoration :

- Celle de la mort d'Albéric Magnard à l'église de Baron lors d'un concert organisé par la Communauté des Pays de Valois le 13 septembre 2014, en présence de la petite fille du compositeur.
- Le "Concert Spirituel du Centenaire" le 30 décembre 2017 à l'église de Noyon, reprenant à l'identique celui qui y avait été donné exactement 100 ans plus tôt par quelques musiciens de la Grande Guerre parmi lesquels leurs organisateurs Lucien Durosoir, Anfré Caplet et Maurice Maréchal.
- Les deux concerts donnés lors de la grande soirée 14-18 organisée le 15 septembre 2018 par les Archives départementales de l'Oise avec au programme la re-création du trio de Joseph Boulnois musicien combattant de la Grande Guerre, né à Verneuil en Halatte, mort à peine un mois avant l'armistice, et une mélodie de Raymond Carlier sur un poème de Philéas Lebesgue.

New Years Concerts 2017
As every year since 2012, the Oise Philharmonic Orchestra will present in January 2017, a largely renewed New Year program. After his four concerts in January 2017, he will have presented 62 new works to his audience.
His program is again made up of waltzes, gallops and polkas from the Strauss family which always bring their incomparable flavor to this festive evening. Offenbach and Rossini also have their place there with their jubilant music. But the Oise Philharmonic Orchestra knows how to mix particularly delightful works by little known composers like Olivier Métra whose rose waltz was famous in France in the 19th century, or even more unexpected composers in a New Year program, like J. Haydn or Scott Joplin or G. Gimenez or PM. Narro.

Le 11 décembre 2016 de 14h à 17h à la Chapelle St Frambourg à Senlis
L'Orchestre Philharmonique de l'Oise remercie vivement la Fondation Cziffra de l'accueillir à la Chapelle St Frambourg pour cette répétition publique au cours de laquelle il poursuivra sa préparation de son programme de Nouvel An 2017.
Il s'y était produit plusieurs fois il y a quelques années. Il y avait notamment fait la connaissance de Suzanne Ramon, cette grande violoncelliste qui avait été accueillie par G. Cziffra lorsqu'elle est arrivée très jeune en France.
Il avait accompagné Suzanne Ramon dans le concerto pour violoncelle et orchestre de Schumann, puis, au Théâtre Impérial de Compiègne dans celui de Dvorak.

The program celebrates the clarinet with two of the most beautiful concertos ever written: that of Mozart whose everyone knows the famous adagio included in the music for the film "Out of Africa", and the most famous of Weber, romantic composer, cousin by marriage by Mozart. La Petite Messe Solennelle : "une sacrée musique"
La « petite messe solennelle » de Rossini est sans doute l’une des œuvres les plus chantées par les choristes de la planète. Et il y a mille raisons à cela ! L’œuvre est d’une beauté stupéfiante. En conciliant l’opéra et la musique sacrée, c’est le Théâtre et l’Eglise que Rossini réconcilie une bonne fois pour toutes. Dans sa dédicace à la fois humble et amusante qu’il fit directement « Au Bon Dieu » Rossini admet avec malice qu’il ne sait pas très bien s’il s’agira de musique sacrée ou de sacrée musique ! La postérité a jugé : il s’agit bel et bien des deux, et sans l’ombre d’un seul doute.
Le chœur Cantus Felix, qui a chanté cette œuvre avec beaucoup de succès à plusieurs reprises cette année dans sa version initiale avec piano et harmonium, a souhaité terminer son cycle en présentant à Saint-Leu d’Esserent la version avec orchestre, la plus aboutie, la plus solennelle, celle que Rossini souhaitait pouvoir être donnée dans une grande basilique. Il a choisi pour cela l’Orchestre Philharmonique de l’Oise, dont le chef d’Orchestre de l’époque était un ami de Rossini, et les belles et puissantes voix de Catherine Manandaza, Maria Christina Villasmil, Daniel Galvez-Vallejo, Marc Souchet.

Il s'est inscrit lui aussi dans le cadre des projets de commémorations du Centenaire de la Grande Guerre menés par l'Orchestre Philharmonqiue de l'Oise, et où la Fresque Musicale "14" tient une place prépondérente. Nous retrouverons certainement "14" au cours de la saison. l'Orchestre est également toujours présent dans les journées du patrimoine. Cette année il l' aété avec un seul concert en quatuor au musée départemental le 21 septembre. Enfin, la très attendue Petite messe solennelle de Rossini en version avec orchestre a été donnée le 11 octobre à l'Abbatiale de Saint-Leu d'Esserent.
Concert hommage à Albéric Magnard
L'Orchestre Philharmonqiue de l'Oise en formation "Petite symphonie" et le quatuor ARCHINTO s'associent pour ce concert en hommage à Albéric Magnard, compositeur français mort dans les premières semaines de la Grande Guerre en défendant sa propriété de Baron dans l'Oise contre les Uhlands allemands. Seront notamment joués dans la deuxième partie entièremnt consacrée à Albéric Magnard, son hymne à la justice dans une transcription de Thierry Pélicant, et un mouvement de son quatuor à cordes.

Le concert est organisé par la Communauté de communes du pays de Valois et sera donné en présence de Claire Vlach-Magnard, la petite fille du compositeur.
Il s'est inscrit lui aussi dans le cadre des projets de commémorations du Centenaire de la Grande Guerre menés par l'Orchestre Philharmonqiue de l'Oise, et où la Fresque Musicale "14" tient une place prépondérente. Nous retrouverons certainement "14" au cours de la saison. l'Orchestre est également toujours présent dans les journées du patrimoine. Cette année il l' aété avec un seul concert en quatuor au musée départemental le 21 septembre. Enfin, la très attendue Petite messe solennelle de Rossini en version avec orchestre a été donnée le 11 octobre à l'Abbatiale de Saint-Leu d'Esserent.
Concert hommage à Albéric Magnard
L'Orchestre Philharmonqiue de l'Oise en formation "Petite symphonie" et le quatuor ARCHINTO s'associent pour ce concert en hommage à Albéric Magnard, compositeur français mort dans les premières semaines de la Grande Guerre en défendant sa propriété de Baron dans l'Oise contre les Uhlands allemands. Seront notamment joués dans la deuxième partie entièremnt consacrée à Albéric Magnard, son hymne à la justice dans une transcription de Thierry Pélicant, et un mouvement de son quatuor à cordes.

The New World Symphony No. 9 is one of the most famous works in modern repertoires. Composed by Antonin Dvorak in 1893, when he was Director of the New York Conservatory, this extremely expressive symphony is deeply marked by the popular music of blacks and American Indians.
The concerto in D major, first composed for violin and orchestra, is the work which, with the sword dance, has made Aram Katchaturian famous. It was arranged for flute, with the composer's consent, by Jean-Pierre Rampal.
Florian COUSIN, solo flute of the musicians of the Louvre will be the interpreter, and it will be an immense pleasure for the Orchestra to accompany him.
This young flautist, with a virtuoso and elegant game, who plays with the biggest orchestras, indeed learned the profession of orchestral musician from 1994 to 1998, within the Philharmonic Orchestra of the Oise with which he maintains since , deep relationships of friendship and mutual respect.

New Years Concert in Creil on January 25
In Creil, this is the third consecutive year that the city and the Faïencerie Théâtre de Creil have welcomed us for this festive concert, with a program identical to that of Beauvais, except that since we are in Creil, and that the experience of the past year has been particularly positive, we will again have the pleasure of accompanying the choir C4 by Creil, in three of the works on the program: Wien by the Stadt meiner Träume, the Barcarolle des contes d ' Hoffman, and Under the Bridges of Paris.

We will obviously find once again, works that we hear regularly at the famous New Year's concert in Vienna, and more particularly, works by Johann Strauss son, or Frantz Von Suppé, or even Joseph Hellmesberger.
But we will also find our French composers there, with equally festive works by Georges Bizet, Gioacchino Rossini, Léo Delibes, Ferdinand Hérold, with a foray into the waltz with "Sous les Ponts de Paris", orchestrated by Thierry Pélicant
