The soliststhe strings
and winds from the Oise Philharmonic Orchestra are once again reunited for this last concert of the 2018-2019 Chamber Music Cycle at MUDO which celebrates the septet op. 20 for Beethoven strings and winds. Even if The composer was sometimes exasperated by the enthusiasm aroused by his septet which he said: "there is a lot of imagination in there, but little art", there is no reason to sulk its charm and his inventiveness.
Florian Cousin, flute, and the string trio of the Oise Philharmonic Orchestra, will interpret as a preamble, a transposition * of the concertant duo op. 5 for violin and guitar composed by Victor Magnien, friend of Rossini and Berlioz, Musical Director of the Orchestra for 16 years from 1831.
(* The transposition was carried out by Thierry Pélicant)
